We're continuing our activities to bring us closer to our goal of providing encouragement and support during a search for diagnosis, treatment and further research on neurotransmitter diseases, dopa-responsive dystonias and other neurometabolic disorders.
Expert symposium on the topic "Synaptic metabolism and brain circuitries in IEM: exploring old and new disorders" was held in Barcelona, 16-18 November 2017.
The symposium was attended by more than 100 participants and 20 lecturers from 8 different countries. The association Lil' Brave One had the opportunity to participate and speak on the topic "The patient’s view: small molecules, big effect".
On 9th December 2016 there was a very significant symposium in the full auditorium of the Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry for Children and Adolescents in Belgrade – a course titled “A Clinical Presentation, Diagnosis and Treatment of Congenital Metabolic Disorders“. The course was held in the organisation of Medical Faculty, University of Belgrade, Department of Neurology and the Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry for Children and Adolescents, under patronage of prof. Vedrana Milić Rašić and prof. Nebojša Jović, with the help of dr Galina Stevanović.
