The lecture "Neurometabolic and neurotransmitter diseases in children – what do parents need to know"
Lil' Brave One Association is launching a series of lectures, which will be held online in accordance with the Covid-19 situation.
The second lecture was held on Sunday, 26th July 2020, via Zoom platform.
The lecture "Neurometabolic and neurotransmitter diseases in children – what do parents need to know " is adapted for parents of children with neurometabolic, neurotransmitter diseases and related conditions.
The objectives of the lectures are:
- to explain the principles of treatment and daily care for neurometabolic and neurotransmitter diseases and
- to give answers to the questions of parents who have children with neurometabolic and neurotransmitter diseases.
The lecture was interactive, child neurologist dr Galina Stevanovic and paediatrician, clinical genetics dr Adrian Sarajlija gave lectures and answered to parents’ questions.
Parents had the opportunity to ask everything they were interested in on the topic of treatment and daily care of children with neurometabolic and neurotransmitter diseases.
This kind of cooperation and support to parents means a lot to us, we are thankful to the lecturers for giving the answers in an understandable way which was helpful to parents to resolve some doubts. According to the parents, the lecture exceeded the expectations, the parents enjoyed and adopted new knowledge.
Participants, lecturers, and organizers agreed that this was a wonderful and quality spent Sunday morning!
